Shakira to debut in China on New Year's Eve

According to Youth Daily reports,on New Year's eve in China pop star Shakira will make her debut.

It had been announced officially that Shakira would join in the New Year's Eve concert on Dec. 31.

In the New Year's Eve Concert Shakira sang three songs consisting "Waka Waka" ("This Time for Africa") said the general director of the concert. In addition, the hot Latin dancer will teach the audience to dance "Waka Waka" at the concert.

Shakira, children's book author

Shakira after becoming a published author has proved herself that she is more than just a pair of attractively swaying hips.

A Dora the Explorer children's book for charity has been written by the pop star.

The Singer flexed her creative muscle to write a book for children's and he expressed that "Dora is an inspiration for all children in the world. It was an honour working with Nickelodeon to write this story as education is a cause very close to my heart."

At the end of this year a book will be released by Shakira for children,the book titled 'World School Adventure Day'.All the proceeds received by the sale of book will be handed over to Pies Descalzo Foundation, helping provide education for needy kids around the globe

Shakira changes pace

On the Australian airwaves the last time we heard Shakira was singing Waka Waka.

Diva has been engaged and busy in praising a mostly Spanish language album to the rest of the world.

Colombia’s second best export – behind coffee (no, we’re not supposed to mention the other one!) – scored a massive European hit with the first single from that album and has just unveiled a 50-second preview of the second single.

Sale el Sol – The Sun Comes Out in English – is a change of pace for Shakira.

A pretty, guitar driven ballad, the song showcases the popstar’s softer side – which is reflected in the glamorous video.

Shakira basically wanders around a sun-drenched labyrinth looking beautiful in flowing gown.

Amusingly, the video doubles as an advertisement for Freixenet – a Spanish sparkling wine company.

Shakira returns to Peru in March next year

The Pop Festival concert scheduled for March next year, in which so many different Latin American singer will going to participate,Colombian singer Shakira will be shaking her hips in Peru one more time as part of The Pop Festival.

The event will be presented by Shakira and will also take place in Argentina, Paraguay, Chile, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Republica Dominicana and Costa Rica,according to The Pop Festival website.

Shakira hasn’t decided yet who will be the artists that will join her on this tour.

Shakira has announced her Latin American Tour and said most of her performance will be in Spanish.

Shakira's tour comes to Lima in support of her new album "Sale El Sol" which features her new hit "Loca."

Meanwhile, she continues her tour across the United States and Europe.

Shakira At Bambi Awards 2010 In Germany

Gracing the Bambi Awards with her presence, Shakira was spotted at Filmpark Babelsberg on Thursday (November 11).

Making the trek the Potsdam, Germany, the “She Wolf” songstress looked gorgeous upon arrival and awhile later rocked the stage with one of her exciting performances.

Earlier this week, Shakira performed on the German version of the “X Factor” where she belted out her new single “Loca.”

Speaking of “Loca,” the song has been a hit all over the world and most recently hit the top of the charts in the UK.

Shakira And Rascal To Duet At MTV EMA's

Shakira and Dizzee Rascal, together jointly are going to a show for the ceremony in Madrid, fans are expecting show to be the best of all times

Dizzee teamed up with Shakira for the racy music video, which sees the pint sized blonde skating around Barcelona in a bikini top.

Also performing alongside the Colombian star at the EMAs will be Kings Of Leon, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Rihanna, B.o.B, Kid Rock, Linkin Park and Hayley Williams.

The event will be host by Eva Longoria.Best friends Katy Perry and Rihanna will go head to head as they’re both nominated for Best Pop act, alongside Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus and Usher and for Best Song.

The MTV EMAs kick off on November 7th.
