Shakira This Time For Africa Waka Waka Official Song
Shakira Waka Waka Perform in South Africa
Robert Cavalli designed that amazing outfit Shakira wore on stage last night. Splashed in pinks and yellows, amazing patterns, a mixture of feathers and flats, wrists and waist matching elements, the outfit like the song was a hit for Shakira. The international singer who has since delivered the song in multiple language versions including Spanish and English was radiant in all smile.
Sony Music announced today that Shakira featuring Freshlyground’s Waka Waka (This Time For Africa), the Official song of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™, has reached one million singles sold since it became available May 11. In the history of the World Cup. “Waka Waka” is the fastest selling single and the biggest selling World Cup single of the digital age. All proceeds from the song will benefit FIFA’s Official Campaign of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ “20 Centers for 2010.”
Shakira appeared to be lip synching during her performance of “Waka Waka,” which was the official song of this year’s FIFA World Cup. Shakira was dressed in a belly baring (of course) day glo African influenced outfit as she pranced around the stage while lip synching. The singer added some suitably African style dancing to her signature belly dancing moves for the show, which spiced things up considerably. She definitely appeared to be enjoying herself.

Shakira's talk about her upcoming new Album Reflective
People often underestimate the worldwide force that is Shakira. She is one of the most unique artist on the music scene today and she connects to a wide array of fans. Despite the relatively mediocre sales of her last album, ‘She Wolf’, Shakira can easily outshine her competition once she makes music that reflects who she is as an artist instead of buying into trends like she did on that LP. If ‘Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)’ is any indication of her presence in the industry, then her time at the top is far from over.

SHAKIRA has been swotting up on the World Cup by reading… The Sun
The Colombian beauty, who shook her stuff on Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage on Saturday, met me for a pear cider and a chat in a backstage yurt.
She sings the official World Cup song and has become engrossed in the football, also singing the praises of SunSport for keeping her bang up to date with the action.
Shakira saw England’s drubbing by Germany yesterday with mates in a “good old fashioned English pub” in East London.
I’d wager the blokes in that boozer weren’t just looking at the match.
Shakira should get used to that part of the world after letting slip she’s going to play the O2 on December 20
Shakira’s Song ‘WAKA WAKA’ This Time For Africa
FIFA World Cup 2010 is already underway, however, the official song for the World Cup has been there for a long time now. The “Waka Waka” sung by Shakira has had mixed reactions, however, many have been in favor of the song.
Shakira’s song Waka Waka has started the FIFA fever! My friends and I are constantly fighting over the best team and who’s gonna win. While some of my friends and I support Brazil, some others support Spain, Portugal or England or even the mighty Ivory Coast.
Shakira at Wimbledon to Cheers Rafa Nadal
Singing sensation Shakira gets to her feet yesterday – after witnessing a majestic performance from her former co-star Rafael Nadal. Nadal – who appeared in Shakira’s steamy video for her single Gypsy earlier this year – destroyed Frenchman Paul-Henri Mathieu in straight sets to move into the quarter-finals.
Fan Kai Ward also turned heads yesterday – by sporting a yellow tennis ball shaved into his hair. The taxi driver, 40, wanted to show his support for Russian beauty Maria Sharapova, 23. He said: “I did consider a strawberry – maybe next summer.”
