Singing sensation Shakira gets to her feet yesterday – after witnessing a majestic performance from her former co-star Rafael Nadal. Nadal – who appeared in Shakira’s steamy video for her single Gypsy earlier this year – destroyed Frenchman Paul-Henri Mathieu in straight sets to move into the quarter-finals.
Fan Kai Ward also turned heads yesterday – by sporting a yellow tennis ball shaved into his hair. The taxi driver, 40, wanted to show his support for Russian beauty Maria Sharapova, 23. He said: “I did consider a strawberry – maybe next summer.”
